Photovoice Workshop – UAM-Xochimilco Mexico City

We met with students at the Metropolitan Autonomous University of Mexico (UAM-X) to discuss preliminary findings on equitable transportation and launch “Photovoice: Your Voice, Your City.” Through photography, students will document needs, aspirations, and solutions for more equitable mobility in Mexico City. The photo stories will inform a November workshop with city leaders and a virtual gallery on our website.

Community Presentations – Xochimilco Mexico City

We shared our findings from listening sessions with partners in Xochimilco, Mexico City. The presentations highlighted participants’ experiences and aspirations, including strengths, such as community networks, committees, and mutual aid systems. Participants identified priorities, including better access to opportunities, transparent policies, and city collaboration. Sharing these findings strengthens community capacities, networks and collaboration.
